Industrial Medicine
The traditional Healthstat model places primary focus on identification, control, and management of personal health risk and acute health care delivery. However, Healthstat can also provide occupational health and workers’ compensation services.Healthstat recruits and employs providers who have backgrounds and training in industrial medicine. That way, the clinic is prepared to deliver job specific pre-placement, recurring, and event related examinations as well as delivery of all the traditional Healthstat clinic services.
In instances where employees have injuries which require referral for specialist care, the Healthstat Occupational Medicine Physician will be available as a resource to consult with the patient’s case manager to provide advice to maximize efficiency and appropriateness of care.
