Leading the Way
With leadership well versed in both the client and provider world, along with highly trained medical staff, we provide unmatched vision and guidance.
David Crockett Dale :: President and CEO
Crockett joined Healthstat's management team in 2004 and worked in the capacity of Chief Operations Officer before taking over the role of President and CEO. Before Healthstat, Crockett served as president of a successful textile company in Hickory, North Carolina for 20 years. As an employer, Crockett realized the potential of the Healthstat model and was one of the very first clients to utilize its service. His base of knowledge as both a client and provider of the service brings a valuable experience level to the leadership of Healthstat.
“As a former client and employer who used Healthstat’s on-site clinic model, I learned early on the value of providing a medical resource for my employees. The clinic was quickly embraced and hailed as the top benefit. The on-site clinician was able to engage my associates with their identified risk factors to become healthier. The result was more productivity and reduced workplace injuries. Before using Healthstat’s service, like many employers, I had utilized various methods available to me to control healthcare cost with unsustainable results. In the end, I found Healthstat’s program to exceed my expectations. It became a springboard for me to enter this exciting and burgeoning industry where I receive the satisfaction of helping many employees and their employers with the same valuable benefit.”
Susan C. Kinzler :: Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Susan's passion for helping employers control their healthcare cost and her personal interest in improving the health of working Americans lead her to Healthstat. Susan has worked in the employee benefits arena for over 20 years with past positions including Area President and Senior Consultant for Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. Prior to merging with Gallagher in 1999, Susan and two other partners owned and operated an employee benefit consulting firm that focused primarily on serving the needs of large, self-funded, multi-location employers. In addition to extensive consulting expertise, Susan has been a leader in the operations-side of employee benefits, having served as an executive and officer of a large third party administration firm in Charlotte.
In my former role as a benefit consultant, I heard one consistent theme among my clients, "Why are we spending more and more on heath insurance but our employees aren't getting healthier?" Until I found Healthstat, I was at a loss to provide a meaningful answer that would address the real problem - the chronically ill. But after engaging the Healthstat program and seeing the results firsthand, I became a staunch believer that the answer to the problem was the use of on-site clinics that directed the right care to the right patient at the right time. I left the consulting ranks and joined Healthstat on a full-time basis in early 2005. In my role as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, I get to help our team provide these answers to employers all over the country and offer an excellent benefit as well."

Eric Hart, MD :: Chief Medical Director
Dr. Eric Hart founded Healthstat in 2001 after witnessing firsthand the need for extensive on-site healthcare in the workplace. As a Family Physician focused on the early identification and intervention of patients with high risks and chronic diseases, Dr. Hart utilizes his expertise to guide clinicians in their efforts to manage the health of the employee. In addition, he delivers much-needed acute care to patients and directs occupational medicine in his private practice. Dr. Hart has been an owner, founder and medical director of Healthstat, Hart Family Practice, Hart Industrial Clinics, Unifour Urgent Care, Hart Wellness and Industrial Health of North Carolina.
“As the founder and chief medical officer of Healthstat, I have had the opportunity to watch our company grow from a small on-site staffing company into the national leader in on-site clinics. It has been especially rewarding to provide a model for our clients where in addition to becoming healthcare purchasing agents for the employers, our clinicians have become valuable advisors for their employees who are struggling to navigate our increasingly complex healthcare delivery system. These employees are ultimately the real winners in our model as they now have convenient access to free healthcare provided by a clinician who is genuinely interested in helping them improve their health.”
Tucker McKay, FNP :: Vice President of Clinic Operations
Tucker joined the administrative team at Healthstat in 2005 as the VP of Clinic Operations. Prior to that, he staffed on-site clinics in the capacity of Nurse Practitioner – an experience that brings invaluable knowledge to his position. In his current capacity, Tucker is charged with medical oversight and guidance of the on-site clinicians that service Healthstat’s clinics, overall clinical implementation of Healthstat’s electronic medical records system and continued training of on-site clinicians.
“My role is to offer a clinician’s perspective to the management team, one that not only bears in mind the importance of day to day clinical contact with employees, but also the many areas of collaboration that work together to deliver one of the most innovative and effective care models in existence today.”
